“Tales from the Tides” is my graduate collection from Surface Pattern and Textile Design at Swansea College of Art. This project draws rich inspiration from my childhood along the Yorkshire Coast. I infuse my illustrative style with a vibrant colour palette to reimagine cherished seaside tales. By creating bold and joyful prints, I bring the beauty of traditions and past times into a variety of wearable and homeware applications. Each designs captures the essence of coastal life, inviting wearers and users to embrace the beauty of the seaside in the everyday lives.
